water terraces
Chrstian Salkeled, Lillian Cao
2nd year architecture students
Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, 2016
The terraces were designed to increase children’s interaction in a previously unused space, helping to facilitate learning about the cyclical nature of water as well as its ability to support life in various outlets of exploration. The modules provide a year-round space of interest that brings classes together in a long term learning experience lasting and evolving through the seasons of the year.
